I let the kids destroy and eat both the gingerbread houses we had made(yes again, this was in December!). I was SOOOO sick of them asking, "can we eat them?" It was nice to finally say, "YES!"

The Peterson zoo started when I married my wonderful husband, Daniel! Our first born was Lucy-the dog, the Cleo-the cat! Then we decided it was time to grow up and have real children! Ethan, Tessa, and Pierce are now permanent members of the zoo!
